Forecaster gets 100%
A former toxicologist with the FBI and Scotland Yard is running a trend forecaster business with a 100% success rate.
Suzy Badaracco uses a method, based on Chaos Theory, that she has developed through her experience with chemistry and analysis of crime scenes, to now identify trends for food industry and other clients.
She reads more than 50 newspapers daily as research as part of her focus on patterns.
“For me, with drugs and baking, there’s no difference,” she said. “It’s just chemistry right?”
The only problem I have in the industry is that no one else does this,” Suzy said. “I don’t have any mentors so I still have to go back to my military contacts.”
Based on her analysis of patterns and trends, she is expecting that the Gluten free buzz will start to slow down soon, as other “in” things come along.
She has a waiting list of clients and provides the current ones with a trend forecast every quarter for the following 12-18months. It is then up to the client to determine what actions to take as a result.
“I can look back in my data and every single one of them hits. I don’t open my mouth until I’m sure of where a trend is going or what it’s doing. So I’m very conservative.
