Foodservice Awards for 2010
The second year of the Foodservice Suppliers Association Australia National Awards of Excellence has announced St George Smallgoods as the National Foodservice Distributor of the Year award.
The ceremony was held in Sydney recently and more than 320 people, including many of the industry’s leaders, attended.
The awards were designed to recognise and encourage exceptional service of both companies and individuals.
Food Supplier for the Year for 2010 was Inghams Foodservice, and The Chairman’s Award for Special Achievement was presented to one of the most respected chefs in the hospitality industry in Australia, George Hill.

- Vic Metro Foodservice Distributor of the Year – Arctic Food Wholesalers
- Vic Regional Foodservice Distributor of the Year – Cadell Trading
- Qld Metro Foodservice Distributor of the Year – Bidvest Brisbane
- Qld Regional Foodservice Distributor of the Year – Bidvest Gold Coast
- SA Metro Foodservice Distributor of the Year – Galipo Food Company
- SA Regional Foodservice Distributor of the Year (incorporating NT) – Asian United Food Service
- WA Metro Foodservice Distributor of the Year – Sealanes
- WA Regional Foodservice Distributor of the Year – Craven Foods
- Tasmania Foodservice Distributor of the Year – PFD Launceston
- Hall of Fame Inductees – Bob Creighton, Ted Davis and Mike Phillips
